Brandon Mulrooney, PT, DPT
Brandon is a licensed physical therapist specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, with a strong clinical interest in working with overhead athletes and guiding patients through return-to-sport training. He takes a personalized, evidence-based approach to care, helping individuals recover from injury, enhance performance, and return to the activities they love with confidence.
Brandon’s background as a collegiate baseball player at Whittier College gives him a unique perspective on the demands placed on athletes, particularly those involved in overhead sports. This firsthand experience informs his tailored treatment strategies, blending biomechanical insight with progressive rehab techniques to optimize performance and prevent re-injury.
Whether he's working with competitive athletes or active individuals recovering from surgery, Brandon is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering measurable results. His dedication to functional movement, long-term wellness, and sport-specific recovery sets him apart in the field.
When he's not in the clinic, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, watching the Los Angeles Angels, and surfing at Trestles and San Onofre. His passion for movement and performance—both professionally and personally—drives his commitment to excellence in patient care.
Dr. Ali Tuten, PT, DPT

Dr. Ali Tuten PT, DPT is a Southern California native; growing up in Solana Beach she was surrounded by active lifestyles and water which only fueled her love for the sport of swimming. She was a competitive swimmer for over 15 years, which helped her earn a scholarship to the Division 1 program at the University of California Davis. From there, she pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and graduated with honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences which is known for its emphasis on manual therapy.
Dr. Tuten has an array of experience within the realm of physical therapy including inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, outpatient pediatrics and women’s pelvic health.
In her practice, she strives to have her passion and enthusiasm shine through her techniques, time spent on education, and being a motivating presence for her patients to work towards their own personal goals.
On her personal time Dr. Ali, enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Leroy hiking.
Alison McKibbon, PTA
Born and raised in Orange County, California, Alison embarked on a journey of academic and athletic pursuits that shaped her path. After completing high school at Mission Viejo High School, she pursued higher education at Humboldt State University, where she dedicated herself to the study of Kinesiology-Exercise science and nutrition. During her time at Humboldt State, Alison also found fulfillment on the softball field, representing the university as a Division II collegiate athlete.
Driven by a desire to further her knowledge and make a difference in the field of healthcare, Alison then went on to graduate from San Diego Mesa College as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. With a commitment to learning and a passion for helping others, Alison aims to positively impact the lives of others and contribute to the well-being and rehabilitation of individuals in need.
On her free time, Alison loves spending time with her family and friends and is always up to going out to brunch.
Tim Flanagan, PT Aide, Certified Massage Therapist
Tim has his bachelors in Kinesiology, he’s a Certified Massage Therapist, and certified stretch therapist. Tim has been training people in fitness and martial arts for over 10 years, he has been helping improve mobility for the past 5 years. Tim is passionate about helping people move pain free so they can continue to do what they are passionate about!
Tim is an active weight lifter, martial arts practitioner, and an enthusiast of Dungeons and Dragons TTRPG!

Rick Hernandez, PT, DPT, CSCS
Rick is a distinguished physical therapist and proud graduate of St. Augustine Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. With a fervent passion for sports and a deep understanding of human movement, he combines his strong foundation in sports science and rehabilitation techniques to to blend cutting-edge treatments with personalized care. Rick completed a 3-month clinical rotation at EXOS headquarter where he helped professional athletes and elite college athletes reach their peak potential. His goal is to empower patients to regain strength, prevent future injuries and excel in athletic pursuits.
Rick enjoys spending time with family and playing soccer to stay in shape.
